Bench Page, Dock Page Found

Need a place to sit in Relto? Head out to the newest rest age and look for a Bench Page. Where, you say? Well, try one of the benches.

The Dock Relto Page many saw in the Prologue also reappeared in Teledahn, along with the Bahro Stone that lies near the Ae’gura Docks that takes explorers there.

GameTap Announces Official Launch Date, International Availability, New Age

Today Gametap issued a media alert that announced the official launch date for the recently resurrected Myst Online: Uru Live is Thursday, February 15, 2007. Currently the game is on a beta release, and already showcases new content “on an almost daily basis.” This announcement is further confirmation of the intent of publisher Gametap and developer Cyan Worlds, Inc. to provide an “intrigue-driven, exploration-oriented interactive experience unlike any other massively multiplayer online game.” The new release will also feature a never-before-seen garden Age featuring an all-new multiplayer puzzle. A direct download will also be available to players in select countries around the world. Those who register through Gametap can access “more than 800” other console, computer and arcade gamed on demand, and will receive the first month of service for $0.99.

Eder Delin Age Released

A new D’ni rest age called Eder Delin was released today, and is the first age to be approved by the DRC since the restoration effort re-commenced. It shares many of the characteristic features of Eder Kemo, from lamps to pathways to gazebos, yet it is distinct in its dawn-like atmosphere. Dr. Sutherland of the DRC is said to have spent much of her time in this age. Like the other ages, it contains a Bahro Door and the first puzzle which requires teamwork to solve. Though at this time, Eder Delin is only available in a few Bevins or neighborhoods.

GameTap Announces New City Area, New Age Release

Today Gametap announced that the current beta version of Myst Online: Uru Live would tomorrow include “a new area of the city and an all-new, never-before-seen Age.” These releases are consistent with last week’s introduction of Cate Alexander, chief fundraiser for the Cavern’s latest restoration effort. “The launch of the first all-new world, while still in beta release, illustrates the game’s commitment to the ongoing rollout of new content.”

Gamptap also released a third announcement today that it is currently in partnership with TransGaming, Inc., a current leader in developing software portability products for the gaming industry, to use its Cider portability engine to develop a Macintosh-compatible version of Myst Online: Uru Live. “The original Myst game premiered on the Mac,” agrees Rand Miller, CEO of Cyan Worlds, Inc. “The Mac community has always been huge supporters of the Myst franchise and we’re thrilled that we will soon be able to invite them to the newest Myst experience.”

A Mysterious Sparklie Found

A tiny floating spark was spotted today in one of the corridors of the Training Building in Gahreesen. Those brave enough to touch it heard a soft noise, as if something registered on their KI. They later found that it added a lamp to an island in their Relto. The island also contains an engraving of some sort that the Bridges and Spirals Page added earlier. What can it all mean?

Islands Page Found

The Islands Relto Page reappeared today in a few Bevins, a behavior some have speculated as possibly a bug, yet it does not appear to be so.

First Month T-shirt Found

As an award to exporers who logged in January 2007, some found an in game shirt featuring the winning design of Kerath’s Arch by explorer Alexander Strinadko. He and others competed in a Fall 2006 competition for designs that would commemorate the re-opening of Myst Online: Uru Live.
